NikNak

Hailing from Leeds, NikNak is a multi-disciplinary artist, producer, sound designer and DJ, and in 2020 was the first Black turntablist to win an Oram Award. From embarking on her debut tour in Summer 2022 using an 8 speaker surround-sound array for her immersive third album ‘Sankofa’, to remixing works by Philip Glass for the ‘Refractions EP’ by PRS, and with various releases on labels like Kynant Records, Inventing Waves, Reel Long Overdub, OTONO and more, NikNak continues to develop wide-reaching ideas and influences.
