An intimate performance of new group compositions by musician and composer Mica Levi, performed by a specially-assembled ensemble. Featuring performances of new pieces from Mica's collection of scores entitled star star star, alongside a performance of their piece Thoughts Are Born.
Plus Glasgow’s fractious and sharp guitar/drum/vocal trio Still House Plants, and form-disrupting songcraft from Joanne Robertson.
A co-commission by Bristol New Music and Barbican Centre, presented in collaboration with Simple Things.

South London-based Mica Levi is known for their soundtrack work – Under The Skin, Jackie, Monos and Zola - and they are also a member of the groups CURL (alongside Brother May and Coby Sey), Good Sad Happy Bad and Tirzah. More →
