Lucy Railton

Lucy Railton is a British cellist, composer, cross-disciplinary collaborator and curator. Railton's practice reflects an endlessly innovative and restless approach to the cello and artistic self-expression. Since her formal training in both classical performance and contemporary improvisation, in London and Boston, Railton has gone on to continually find her voice as a composer and performer, steadily integrating electronics, Just Intonation tuning practises, extended techniques and cross-disciplinary collaboration, into international commissions, performances and recordings.
